Save the Date
Maritime insurance in Latin America is going through one of the most challenging—and at the same time most decisive—moments in its recent history.
The reconfiguration of global trade, the growth of organized crime in key logistics corridors, the pressure of extreme weather events on port infrastructure, and rapid technological transformation are simultaneously redefining the way risk is underwritten, modeled, and managed.
In this context, the sector faces a central question:
How can this complexity be transformed into an opportunity for sustainable growth in the region?
Every year, the Latin American Maritime Insurance Congress brings together those who are called upon to answer that question: insurers, reinsurers, brokers, lawyers, adjusters, logistics operators, and international trade leaders.
More than just an event, the Congress has established itself as the main forum for strategic thinking on marine insurance in Latin America.
In October 2026, Panama will once again be the meeting point where the region comes together to anticipate risks, exchange knowledge, and set the agenda for the sector.
